SnapKooln

Vincent Maddox aka "SnapKooln" grew up in Decatur, Georgia. At age 11 he then moved to Stone Mountain, Georgia. Coming from a family of singers and artists, he got involved with music at a young age. Performing at talent shows in high school and in the school cafeteria. He developed his skill and knew he was good at it. Unfortunately, he was also "in the streets" and ended up doing some jail time which put his music career on hold for a little while. After doing his jail time he decided to go back to school and enrolled at the Art Institute of Atlanta. He then met producer Spencer Fountain aka "Renzy808" where they began to work together. They later formed a company called GTK Enterprizes, LLC with the help of Spencer's uncle Doug Young.

Doug Young

Waipahu, Hawaii native Douglas Young grew up listening to NWA, Too Short, and Cypress Hill. As a teenager Doug moved to Vallejo, California where he became a huge fan of Ice Cube's solo career, Tupac, E-40 and other Bay Area artists. After graduating High School, Doug attended Occidental College in Southern California and earned a BA in Mathematics and a minor in Physics. Thanks to Doug's roommate and football teammate, Will Campbell and DJBedz, Doug was exposed to and gained a bigger appreciation for East Coast rap. Doug moved back to the Bay Area and then relocated to Maryland where he received his Masters degree in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University. After a hard day at work Doug received a phone call from his nephew Renzy808 and asked to listen to SnapKooln's "Like Right Now". Upon hearing the song Doug was so impressed that he agreed to complete the perfect trifecta and GTK Enterprizes was founded.
